BT may remove service from three phone boxes in Clackmannanshire due to low usage. Two are listed kiosks in Dollar.

One box sits outside Alloa’s West End Park’s Grange Road entrance. Two are in Dollar; one is at Mylne Avenue and Harviestoun Road’s corner, and the other is between 31 and 33 Bridge Street.
BT will remove service because they are rarely used now. They assessed the phone boxes based on Ofcom’s rules.
Dollar’s two phone boxes are special because they are Category B Listed kiosks. BT won’t remove the boxes themselves; however, they will take away the phone equipment inside, and the phone boxes will then be locked.
The Council and others can share their views with BT, and they have 90 days to respond. The deadline is Thursday, May 15.
The local authority wants copies of resident responses. Please email them to planning@clacks.gov.uk. Send your concerns to btp.authorisation.team@bt.com.
Also, communities can “adopt” phone boxes and transform them into new things. People have made them cafes or libraries, and some are now defibrillator locations. Adoption costs just £1.
