The Buckie Classic Car Show donated funds to the Linzee Gordon Community Play Park. The donation totaled £1500.

The Buckie Classic Car Show took place in Linzee Gordon Park last August. The show was their biggest one ever, featuring 770 vehicles at the event. Cars came from all over the UK to participate.
The car show group takes photos for a calendar intended for charitable purposes. They asked people to photograph the vehicles on display for inclusion in a charity calendar.
The car show proceeds were directed to the play park, resulting in a significant donation. They raised £816.50 selling 77 calendars. In addition, Interim Moray Council chief executive John Mundell bought one calendar, further supporting the cause. Committee members supplemented the total with a donation, increasing the funds to £1500.
They are actively planning this year’s show, scheduled for August 31. Last year’s event filled up quickly, leading them to close entries early when regular entrants hadn’t booked in time. This year has a different plan designed to assist those not online savvy and ensure everyone gets a fair chance. They look forward to this year’s show and have many plans in place for another successful event.
