Sparkles, a Buckinghamshire charity, receives £15,000 from Children in Need. It will help children with Down’s syndrome.

Sparkles started way back in 1999. They give awesome free help, including speech therapy. They also provide physio and occupational therapy.
These services really help little ones, specifically, preschoolers with Down’s syndrome. Services help them communicate better and make starting school easier.
The Children in Need money is super important, keeping the services running smoothly and paying for speech and language therapists.
Kate Broadway and Bushra Maqsood are Sparkles trustees. They said they are thankful for the money, as the grant helps them keep going.
Sparkles has helped kids for over 25 years, supporting kids with Down’s syndrome in Buckinghamshire and nearby areas.
The grant lets them continue their goal: to help kids reach potential with speech and language therapy. Physiotherapy and occupational therapy also support this goal.
These services are not always available through the NHS, so the grant is extra crucial, keeping their speech therapists funded.
Sparkles is led by parents, supporting young kids with Down’s syndrome in Buckinghamshire and surrounding areas. It’s great they offer such assistance.
