Volunteers at Refurbs Buckley repair items, reducing landfill waste and CO2 emissions in Wales.

Seven volunteers work there now, and they’ve fixed 77 items total. This helps keep things out of landfills, and local people save money. The café also shares repair skills.
Fixing those items helped the environment. The action reduced CO2 emissions, lowering emissions by 2,533 kg. That equals 15,447 miles of flying.
They often fix vacuum cleaners and small appliances. Bicycles get repaired, along with tech items and wooden things. Garden tools also get fixed.
Volunteers sometimes fix very special items. For example, they restored a precious stool once, and these items hold sentimental value.
Refurbs Buckley holds free repair events on the first Saturday each month. The events run from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Everyone is welcome to attend, and repairs are also free of charge.
