Have your say! Draft Place Making plan unveiled for Buckley. Share thoughts before council adoption.

Over 2,300 people shared ideas online and in person. Now, they are working on Buckley’s Place Making Plan. It’s based on research, data, and public input.
Shared Prosperity Funds helped create the draft plan. The public will see the draft Place Making plan soon. They are now in the final draft stage. People can share thoughts before adoption by the council.
This lets people see the plan’s priorities. You can also see the plan to improve the town. The survey asks if you agree with the priorities. It asks about actions the town plans to take.
Flintshire County Council leads the Place Making plan. Other groups and services help them too. Wales wants all towns in Wales to have these plans. This helps get money for town center projects later.
Towns have changed because of shopping habits, and the pandemic also affected our localities. Place Making Plans attract future projects. These projects help people and the economy.
Place Making Plans set a vision for Buckley. These plans will improve what the town offers. The plans address needs of those who visit, work, and live in the town.
