Nine homes, including affordable options, are proposed for a greenfield site near Grange Close in Bunbury. Application due date is March 5, 2025.

The PIP process starts by checking site suitability. Planning Angel submitted a statement for them. The site is a privately owned paddock, surrounded by houses on three sides.
Grange Close provides access to this land, which sits within the settlement boundary. The parish council owns a strip of land, allowing access from Wyche Lane. Affordable housing already exists to the north.
The McCormacks state key benefits in their plan, saying nine homes help address the housing shortage. Bunbury needs affordable homes, and this project offers three such homes.
Construction brings economic boosts to the village, as new residents will use local services. The area is a typical greenfield site. Development surrounds it on almost all sides, placing it practically inside the town.
The developers suggest minimal land use harm, as the site is contained. The council’s website shows the application, 25/0366/PIP, which can be viewed on the planning portal.
