Application to turn horse paddock into a three-bedroom bungalow with garage on New Road is under review.

New Road has seen some building lately. Stables were torn down before, and now others have built multiple four-bedroom houses, changes that happened with prior approval.
The plan aims to respect the local scenery and fit with the area’s look and feel. The planner thinks it will blend in nicely.
The new building will be a three-bedroom bungalow with three bathrooms. Solar panels will go on the roof of both the house and the garage.
The land is currently an unused hedged paddock. They plan a small gap for road access.
Some of the land will stay untouched, providing a benefit for wildlife. There is also a dew pond already present.
The project should help local wildlife. New hedgerows and trees of local origin will be planted, and they have considered habitats for water life. The developer is also concerned about badgers, bats, and birds.
The project proposes six bird boxes, to be attached to the house walls and nearby trees.
