A Burton woman’s mobility scooter was stolen after it broke down. Her daughter started a fundraiser to replace it.

The police are looking into this theft, which happened last Wednesday between 4 PM and 5 PM. A week later, no arrests have been made.
The woman’s daughter, Suzanna Groves, started a fundraiser to collect £1,800 for a new scooter. Her mom is devastated because these scooters mean everything to them.
They use them for everyday tasks like picking up kids, buying milk, and getting outside. Scooters cost a lot of money, and the stolen one was expensive. They can’t afford a replacement.
The online fundraiser, found at tinyurl.com/yc4r76h3, raised over £100 by Wednesday afternoon.
