A bus driver faces charges after a fatal crash in Bexleyheath. A nine-year-old girl tragically died.

Ada Bicakci, who was nine, passed away in the hospital on August 5, after the crash on August 3. The bus driver was Martin Asolo-Agogua, age 23. The accident happened in Bexleyheath, London.
The police charged Asolo-Agogua on Thursday. He faces charges for causing death by dangerous driving and also with causing death by careless driving. These charges relate to being under the influence of drugs, as he was also charged with driving over the drug limit.
Ada’s five-year-old brother was also hurt and taken to the hospital. Ada was a Turkish-British citizen who lived in Bexleyheath with family and went to local schools.
Ada also liked gymnastics and swimming. Ada’s family said she helped six people by donating her organs after she died. The family shared photos of Ada.
Asolo-Agogua is from Nunhead, London. He was arrested the day of the crash because police suspected dangerous driving and drug-driving. The crash occurred on Watling Street on August 3, 2024, in the morning.
The police were called to Watling Street to investigate a bus hitting two children near Halcot Avenue. Ada passed away in the hospital on August 5. The police continue to support Ada’s family.
Asolo-Agogua is out on bail and must appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on March 24.
