Friday, February 21 has some cool events. Newbridge Memo has a comedy night. It starts at 7pm, with doors opening earlier at 6:30pm. Mike Reed hosts, featuring three comedians: Col Holwarth, Kirsty Davies, and Chris Chopping. Tickets are £10 online at the Memo’s site.

Blackmore’s Blood, a tribute celebrating Deep Purple and Rainbow, performs at Caerphilly Workmen’s Hall. Doors open at 7:30pm, and tickets are £22 online.

Monday, February 24 offers kids’ shows. The book ‘Tidy’ comes to life in both English and Welsh. Theatr Iolo brings Emily Gravett’s book to Wales. Caerphilly Council has half-term events for kids. They offer many activities this February, including swimming, sports, and outdoor fun. They also provide creative play options.

Caerphilly Play provides free sessions called Pop-Up & Play for kids aged 4-12. These sessions boost creativity, providing games and crafts. Locations change each day, happening across multiple locations.

Finally, free outdoor adventures are available through Caerphilly Adventures. It’s a workshop for families, teaching map-reading skills and exploring nature together. These workshops are at Cwmcarn Forest Drive and are for families with children aged 5+. Pre-booking is required.
