The Cambridge Corn Exchange celebrated its 150th anniversary with an open day. It featured activities, workshops, and tours.

They included activities for kids, live bands, and dance and drama workshops. People could attend technical workshops, and guided tours also took place.
The technical workshops let people learn about event production, and adults and children got to participate. Guided tours explored the Corn Exchange’s history, with backstage areas being accessible.
Anglia Ruskin University students, studying business and event management, helped organize the event alongside the Cambridge Corn Exchange team.
Over a thousand people visited the Corn Exchange, and many experienced the creative industries for the first time. Cambridge City Council partnered with ARU students, and celebrations will continue through 2025.
Free tickets exist for Augmented Reality events occurring at the Corn Exchange next week, on Monday, February 24th and Tuesday, February 25th.
The CORE project supports these AR events, led by Cambridgeshire County Council. It is a government-backed program showcasing 5G and AR potential.
These events are innovative and unique, and the public can sign up for free tickets. This trial is happening for the first time globally.
