Maroof Rahman, a jailed Cambridge drug dealer, is ordered to repay over £679,000 of his criminal earnings.

They found drugs like cocaine and cannabis at his homes. He also had cash, £18,000 to be exact. Police discovered drug equipment, phones and even a gun. He had live bullets too. Rahman was already on parole for earlier drug crimes.
A court ordered him to pay back his illegal money. He has to pay over £30,000 right away. If he doesn’t, he will get two more years added to his sentence. Rahman needs to pay about £648,000 more after his release.
A detective named James Campbell investigated Rahman. He called Rahman dangerous, noting he had a gun. The detective said Rahman ran a drug business. Other people worked for him, delivering drugs.
Campbell said Rahman has a long prison term now. Plus, he must repay his illegal earnings. Law enforcement wants to stop drugs in Cambridgeshire. They want residents to be safe.
Rahman was sentenced in August. He had a gun and bullets illegally. He also admitted to dealing drugs, like cannabis, and pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine. Also, he admitted to having criminal property.
Rahman once bragged he had “100 bags” in a video. He meant he had lots of cash in a box. Police ask people to report any drug activity.
