Camden Council considered 78 requests. These included shop and pub updates, plus moving a Robert Stephenson statue.

Some requests seem more interesting than others. Let’s check out some of these interesting proposals. A shop in Hampstead wants to change its look. Astrid & Miyu want to update their new storefront.
They plan changes for 2-6 Hampstead High Street. They want new signs and a fresh color of paint. An awning and a sandwich board are also wanted.
Transport for London wants more bike docks. They plan to add docks in Holborn. They want a new station by Truro House. It will include cycle docking and a terminal.
The Apple Tree pub may get changes soon. It’s a pub on Mount Pleasant, now closed. Mr. Gary Farrell wants to change it. He wants to convert the ground floor to a showroom. He also wants to change the upper floors. The first and second floors would become flats. They plan three flats instead of the pub space.
A statue might move to Durham for display now. The statue is of Robert Stephenson’s son. He was the son of the “Father of Railways.” The council received an application for this move.
Robert Stephenson’s statue used to be at Euston station. It survived the building’s listing changes. HS2 stored the statue during construction work. Now, it could go to a museum in Shildon. The Locomotion Museum could display it soon.
