Police find cannabis grow inside a former Private Shop in Lowesmoor, Worcester, raising concerns among local businesses.

A worker at another shop hadn’t noticed anything suspicious. They knew the Private Shop was closed for some time and hadn’t seen anyone go in or out. They found the cannabis grow weird, noting other recent grows in Worcester.
The worker’s boss saw police and the forensic team arrive. Other people saw police arrive around 9 AM. By 11 AM, a police car and another CSI van were present. A National Grid van was also on the scene.
The National Grid van left after about twenty minutes. A larger police van then showed up but quickly departed. A policeman said they performed a drugs warrant and found a cannabis grow inside. He stated the team that fights neighbourhood crime executed it and that there are no public safety concerns. West Mercia Police confirmed the drug warrant at the former Private Shop on Lowesmoor.
