Wick car fans organize a memorial car run to honor Kaden Askew, a 15 year old boy passed away and loved cars

The “send-off convoy” comes after his funeral on Saturday. Gemma believes Kaden will smile from above. Car meets were Kaden’s happy escape. He loved every car detail.
His uncle Martin, a fanatic, inspired Kaden’s car passion. He shared his toy car collection with him. Kaden went to Highland Cars meets near Wick often. He would just stare at all the cool cars.
In April, they took him to a car show in Inverurie. He spent hours looking at cars and taking photos. Andy Mac from Highland Cars knew Kaden’s mom. She asked for a memorial car run for Kaden.
Kaden always smiled, admiring the variety of cars. Andy felt honored to grant her wish. He hopes for a fitting send-off for Kaden. Everyone is welcome, not just car club members.
Bring any vehicle and honk for Kaden’s last journey. The run starts at 11 AM at Ashley Ann’s car park. It passes St Andrew’s Church and then Bignold Park. Specific departure times will be shared that day.
Drivers can express interest on Facebook. This helps organizers estimate how many will attend.
