The council will improve car parks in Stonehouse and Berkeley. Stonehouse’s High Street car park gets upgrades soon. They will prep it for EV chargers first. Then, workers will resurface the whole area in April. The car park needs to close for this project.

The health center folks still need access. Patients and staff will get alternative parking. Do not worry, the public toilets will stay open. Parking will be unavailable during the work. Rail users could try the Stroud Cheapside car park. It sits near Stroud’s train station.

Berkeley’s Marybrook Street car park will expand. They’ll add about 21 new parking spots. The extra spaces come at Berkeley Town Council’s request. They will tear down old garages the council owns.
