Jade’s Bags charity donated baby items to Burnley General Hospital, supporting new mums in need with essential supplies.

Debbie Meade-McLoughlin founded Jade’s Bags. She visited the postnatal ward to gift the items. East Lancashire has areas of poverty, and some mums arrive at the hospital with nothing.
Hospital staff often buy items themselves, using their own money. “Every family deserves basic comfort,” Debbie said. This donation helps the most vulnerable.
Louise Bardon is assistant director of midwifery. She expressed gratitude to Debbie and Jade’s Bags for their very kind donation.
The donation will greatly help mothers and families, particularly those with limited access to essential items for themselves or their babies.
ELHT&Me is the hospital’s charity.
