A chef from Rick Stein’s Cornish Arms died. People really liked him. Police went to a Padstow house on Grenville Road after someone worried about a man inside. This happened around 8 pm last Thursday.

The man was in his 30s. They found him dead there. Police say it wasn’t suspicious, and they told his family about it already. The chef was found in the staff housing.

Ian Fitzgerald spoke for The Rick Stein Group and confirmed a chef died February 13th. Out of respect for the family, they won’t share more. Their sympathies go to his family and friends.

Rick Stein bought The Cornish Arms in 2009. It is in St Merryn, near Padstow. Stein has many businesses, including four in Padstow, one in St Merryn, and one in Newquay. He also has places in Marlborough, Sandbanks, and London.

Stein and his ex-wife started their business 50 years ago. The Rick Stein Group began with the Seafood Restaurant. The group now has over 600 employees, and they run restaurants, a school, shops, and lodging.

Stein became famous on TV after hosting food shows. Shows include “Rick Stein’s Long Weekends”, “Rick Stein’s Cornwall” and “Taste of the Sea”.
