The final chefs joining the Bishop Auckland Food Festival are announced. Cherish Finden, Francesco Mattana, and Paul A Young to attend.

Durham’s biggest food festival happens April 12 and 13. Over 140 traders will be there. Celebrity chefs will give cooking demos in a theatre.
Simon Rimmer, from Sunday Brunch, will be there on Saturday. Jane’s Patisserie is also appearing. MasterChef winner Brin Piranthapan joins them. The council just revealed Sunday’s chefs: Cherish Finden, Francesco Mattana and Paul A Young.
Cherish Finden is coming back. She is a TV judge and pastry expert. You know her from Bake Off: The Professionals. She mentored on Celebrity MasterChef too. Cherish has been on Heston’s Great British Food, Saturday Kitchen and Australian MasterChef.
Francesco Mattana will be there on Sunday. He is an Italian chef who promotes sustainable eating and wants less food waste. He created @our_cookingjourney online and shares knowledge and inspires cooking.
Paul A Young, a chocolatier, returns to Durham to teach chocolate workshops at Bishop Auckland. Festival visitors can make truffles.
Durham Councillor Elizabeth Scott is quite excited, highlighting the amazing chefs coming on Sunday. They will provide inspiring demonstrations. Cherish, Francesco, and Paul complete the lineup; along with Simon, Jane, and Brin it should be a very exciting weekend.
