Have your say on Cheshire’s future! Consultation on devolution plans seeks public input on key aspects until April.

The government wants your opinion and asks about the plan’s details. There are seven questions to answer; this consultation lasts until April.
The area does well economically, with a GDP higher than nearby places. Some areas faced industrial decline previously, while rural spots have unique problems too.
Big projects, including HyNet and car factories like Bentley, could help the area. Nuclear sites exist in Birchwood and Capenhurst. Investment helps Chester, Crewe, and Warrington.
The plan gives power to a combined authority, covering transport, job skills, housing, and the economy. They also manage the environment and healthcare.
A mayor gives the area a voice, joining the Prime Minister’s Council which involves nations and regions. The consultation ends on April 13.
