Choco Me is located on Rawson Place. You can find it in Bradford’s Top Of Town. The shop sells many kinds of desserts, offering cookie dough, gelato, and waffles.

Maheesha Balage owns Choco Me. She came from London to Bradford after a friend recommended she move there. Maheesha wanted to open her own business, and her friend thought Rawson Place would be a good location.

The friend located the shop for Maheesha; they used to live together in London. After visiting, Maheesha liked Bradford and decided to take a chance on the city.

Choco Me opened on January 18th. Winter was not very busy for the shop, and Maheesha knows January and February are slow, as it’s often too cold for ice cream then.

She now uses Uber Eats to deliver. Maheesha wants more people to know her shop and feels her dessert choices are unique. She says customers usually return.

The best sellers at Choco Me are popular. People love the cookie dough, waffles, and crepes. The gelato is also very good, and customers like its taste.

Choco Me is open every day from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Visit to grab a late afternoon treat.

Bianca Bradu also opened a business there called John J Cafeteria. She wants to revitalize Rawson Place, because this area of Bradford needs new life.

The cafe sells sandwiches and hot dishes. You will find cakes and food from different cultures, including mac and cheese and a gym salad. Asian, Italian, and British food is also available.

Bianca named the business after her son, Jonathan Jyanshu. She wants him to run it later and take over when he turns eighteen.
