Several charities benefited from recycled Christmas trees. Diverse Abilities, Lewis-Manning Hospice Care, and Julia’s House all gained. People donated around 29 tonnes of used Christmas trees.

Eco Sustainable Solutions processed most of these donated trees. They transformed them into woodland mulch. The mulch totaled 96 cubic meters, equalling about 1,920 wheelbarrow loads.

Money from tree disposal goes to the three charities. This year, they raised £7,000 more than last year’s total.

Treecycling helps Diverse Abilities every year, allowing them to fundraise sustainably. They support disabled children and adults in Dorset.

Julia’s House appreciates Eco’s help running their service. It was their fourth Christmas tree collection event. Local companies and groups helped them succeed, with volunteers giving their time, equipment, and transport.

Lewis-Manning Hospice Care feels proud of the collective impact. The tree collection and recycling had another successful year. The funds will pay for 1,200 therapy sessions. These sessions improve mental and physical health. Occupational therapists lead exercise sessions so patients can maintain active lifestyles and connect with others.
