The Clackmannanshire service had a visit from the Care Inspectorate. It happened on January 23, 24, and 27. The service is at the Ludgate Resource Centre.

This service helps people at home across Clacks. It started helping people back in 2004. Inspectors talked with 18 people needing care and also with 21 staff and managers. The team even watched a resident’s day.

Inspectors used a scale from 1 to 6, where one means the service is unsatisfactory, and six means it is excellent. The Reablement team scored a 5 for wellbeing, meaning they are very good. They got a 4 for their staff team, which is good.

The report said people felt heard. Staff helped people gain skills and confidence. Care staff paid attention and responded well. They respected what people wanted. Health pros reviewed people quickly, and the service had good ties with local health experts. This improved people’s health and wellbeing.

Inspectors liked how they handled medicines. People using the service called the team “a godsend.” There were only small things to improve. The visitors wanted staff to get the right training and regular updates, too.

This would ensure they give the best care possible, allowing staff to use current advice. A spokesperson commented on the inspection and was happy inspectors found great strengths. Staff showed compassion and formed relationships. They did it with health professionals.

The spokesperson was also delighted that the service’s quality got recognized. Hard work made positive results for people, and they support all their patients.
