Valuable mountain rescue equipment stolen from visiting teams in Cleveland, hindering their ability to respond.

Sadly, thieves targeted two visitors from out of the area overnight on Saturday, February 15th. The thieves stole mountain rescue gear, including some items with team logos, making them easily identifiable.
Police in Cleveland have been notified about the thefts. If you spot the gear, whether for sale or in use, contact them immediately.
These thefts significantly impact the rescuers, hindering their ability to effectively perform their jobs. This limits their rescue capabilities, and replacing the stolen gear will be a time-consuming process, especially considering that volunteers often purchase their own equipment.
The stolen gear includes a red/black Deuteur backpack (40 liters) and a white helmet with the Kask Mountain Rescue logo. A red jacket with a Mountain Rescue panel was also taken.
Additional stolen items include a climbing harness, rope, and red karabiners, along with black and tan winter gloves. A small, red first aid kit containing medical tools is also among the missing items.
Other lost items include a Fenix head torch, a Black Diamond head torch, and an orange casualty shelter. A small orange equipment sack and a black and orange bag are also gone, alongside an ice axe, avalanche probe, and snow shovel. Finally, the thieves took brown gloves and mitts, a transceiver, a buff, and a printer.
