Paige Harvey owns Club Fetch Newcastle. She lowered entry fees for XL bully owners despite the “dangerous” label. She wants these dogs to exercise freely, and the park also lets owners relax.

Bark Park is in Ponteland and includes features like a ball pit, a selfie station, a tug tree, and an agility section to entertain dogs.

New laws started on December 31, 2023, requiring XL bullies to be leashed and muzzled in public spaces. Breeding or selling XL bullies is now illegal, as is gifting, exchanging, or abandoning them.

These rules address rising dog attacks. Gov.uk reports that 23 people have died in such attacks recently, with XL bullies often involved in these incidents.

Harvey welcomes XL bullies to her eight-acre, private, and secure field. She offers owners a discounted rate, charging £10 per hour instead of £20.

Harvey believes off-lead walks should be free, stating that freedom is priceless. She added that she’d offer the park for free if she could, but rent costs prevent that. Ultimately, she simply wants to help people.
