NIFRS honors 131 employees for 20, 30, or 40 years of service at Cookstown ceremony, recognizing dedication and sacrifice.

Aidan Jennings, Jay Colville, and Peter May attended. Robert Scott, Lord Lieutenant of County Tyrone, presented awards recognizing both operational and support staff. Ninety-one operational staff got 20-year medals, and five support employees also received 20-year medals.
Thirty-one operational workers got 30-year clasps. One operational worker received a 40-year clasp, and one support employee received the 40-year medallion. Employees also received commendations for specific incidents recognizing action, professionalism, and conduct.
Aidan Jennings spoke about recognizing long service and mentioned the vital contribution of each colleague. The new LDC will support training needs while highlighting the organization’s values and culture. Jennings also acknowledged family support, which is crucial during challenging situations.
Jay Colville honored the 131 employees and recognized their dedication and years of service. These awards are a tribute to their hard work. Colville expressed gratitude to everyone, acknowledging their roles demanded personal sacrifices, which he appreciates.
