A drug gang imported £4.2M of cocaine via flights from France, dropping it in the English countryside. Four members are convicted.

Investigators found the gang worked with foreign contacts. Drugs came from near Cherbourg, France. Planes dodged radar systems and turned off transponders, said the police. These devices normally alert other pilots.
Four gang members are now convicted. Tomas Bauza, age 44, was found guilty. Detective Inspector Daniel Barker spoke about the case, stating the gang tried hard to hide their actions.
Police knew about three flights to England. The planes quickly returned to France. Rolandas Bauza, age 47, or Martynas Piecia, age 37, picked up packages. They always went to the same place.
Arjan Lisaj, age 33, worked at the car wash. Police arrested him with Bauza and Piecia near the car wash in Hertfordshire. The three men admitted to drug crimes.
Police found two cocaine blocks at the car wash. Rolandas had £37,000 in cash, too. Tomas was arrested at his home during a raid, where police found cocaine and cannabis evidence.
Barker said police cooperated with other groups to bring serious criminals to justice. All four men will be sentenced on August 4th at St Albans Crown Court.
