Trading Post applies for a spot in Hinksey Park to sell coffee from a unique Vespa tricycle creating a fixed coffee point.

The application mentions a special van, which is a small, green, Vespa tricycle. This Piaggio Ape Mix has a coffee machine and allows space for snacks. Pastries will be available too.
The van already operates in New Hinksey and has been at the South Oxford Farmer’s Market, also in Hinksey Park, for twelve years.
The Trading Post believes Hinksey Park needs good coffee daily. Locals agree, based on talks with the applicant, who wants to boost the New Hinksey community. Providing great coffee can help them build community.
A fixed coffee spot helps other shops by encouraging locals to visit them. They also discussed the Wide Awake Coffee Bike, hoping to work together with that business to support each other.
Wide Awake only works on Saturdays and moves around to find customers. Trading Post wants a fixed location instead, operating beneath pine trees between the football pitch and splash park.
