Cogges Manor Farm in Witney reopened, offering families a fun escape with animals, crafts, and treats.

Kids did crafts led by volunteers, and visitors tasted baked goods. The food came from the manor house’s range. Half-term crafts occur all week from 11 AM to 3 PM, with baking happening on some specific days.
Guy Reed, the farm manager, said they are happy to reopen. Many visitors came despite cloudy skies and wanted to escape staying indoors. Volunteers worked to get the farm ready, and the house had spring flowers in each room.
The farm is now open daily until next November, and the shop and cafe are also open. They planned many events, including Witney’s Truth Told Theatre performing Macbeth in the Barn March 28 and 29. Doors open at 6:30 PM before the 7 PM show.
A matinee performance is on March 29 at 2 PM, and tickets are cheaper for those under 17. The team is working on Easter holiday plans and planning many family events.
