The Living History Weekend is coming up soon. It happens February 22 and 23, a Saturday and Sunday. It ends the February break in a fun way. You can meet people from olden times.

This family event lets you explore history. The building and gardens will be open, and you can see living history camps.
Expect military demonstrations too; it’s a two-day experience.

Worcester Reenactors will do firing demos in the walled garden area. Medieval music will play in the Great Hall. People will perform Tudor-style dancing as well.

You can watch craftspeople at work. Metalworkers and willow weavers will show their skills. Little Al’s Kitchen offers food if you get hungry. Find it at The Commandery; the canal-side café provides refreshments.

The Commandery was a Royalist base during the 1651 Worcester battle. They also host Victorian mornings, Tuesday 18 to Thursday 20 February. These events get inspiration from a new display.

The cost is £5 per child, plus standard entry fees. You can book tickets online and learn more at museumsworcestershire.org.uk.
