Mourners gathered to pay tribute to Hope Gordon during her final procession in Livingston.

It was chilly, but many mourners came. They lined the road and tossed flowers, which landed on the horse-drawn hearse. Hope’s coffin had Paw Patrol characters, her favorite cartoon.
A car with Paw Patrol flowers went before the hearse; Toronto Primary School provided them because Hope attended that school. Two white horses pulled the hearse, wearing white cloths with blue and yellow feathers matching Paw Patrol.
Someone dressed as Chase, a Paw Patrol character, followed the hearse. Hope’s family rode in cars behind him, while a piper in Highland dress led the procession. This was described as “Hope’s final journey.”
A fundraiser helped pay for “Hope’s Day” and raised over £10,000 – way more than the goal. Melanie Wheeldon started the fundraising page, naming it “in memory of Hope.” The family learned of Hope’s murder January 20, 2025.
Hope was a joyful, loving girl whose smile and kindness were well-known. She loved animals very much. Her life ended too soon, leaving a hole for family and friends.
