Local group restores Tarlair pavilion near Macduff, creating space with cafe, meeting area, and roof access.

The group is doing a three-part project to fix the whole pool area. First, they fixed the inner pool and paths. The pavilion is now done in the second part, with meeting space, a cafe, and a roof. People can use it soon.
Next, the group will fix the outer pool. Tarlair lido was open from the 1930s to the 1990s, where people swam for years. The group wants to make it fun again.
Ten years ago, they fixed the boating pool because cement work needed quick repair. The pavilion money came next, and volunteers will help a lot. This saves money for the pool repair.
The Scottish Government gave funds, and Aberdeenshire Council also helped. Architects Studio Octopi worked hard, and V G Willox did the building work. Now, they will focus on the outer pool.
They made a plan for the pool and will ask for more money. Several groups gave money already. They hope to fix the pool soon, which could let them manage the pool and then get more money.
