A community unites to honor a young girl, Hope, whose life was tragically cut short. Public support requested for her final journey.

Police think the girl’s death was murder. They do not suspect foul play in Mark’s death. The family plans a private service. The service occurs at Howden South’s Co-op Funeralcare.
The family is calling it “Hope’s Day”. They ask the public to show support. People should line the streets to Adambrae Cemetery. Hope will pass by in a horse-drawn carriage. This is a message from the family.
Co-op Funeralcare shared details on social media. They called it “Hope’s final journey”. Hope leaves the Livingston location around 12:45 p.m. on February 10. The route to the cemetery is now public.
They will turn left from the funeral home. They will continue on Almondvale East Road then turn right at the roundabout. The procession proceeds along other roads. These include Dedridge East, West, and North Roads. They expect to reach the cemetery around 1:15 p.m.
A fundraising page exists to help cover costs. Melanie Wheeldon, a family friend, started it. It raised over £10,000. The initial goal was only £2,000. Wheeldon shared a statement there.
She expressed that the hearts of many broke January 20 when they learned about Hope’s murder. Hope was six and loved by everyone. They knew her for her smile and kindness to animals. Her life ended too soon. This left a void in many hearts.
