Felicity and Harriet, 9, from Corby Glen, will represent England in the Dance World Cup in Spain. They are among top finalists.
Felicity Brown and Harriet Smith are both nine and live in Corby Glen. They will travel to Spain for the event.
Each girl sent in a video to enter, and judges put them in England’s top five. After that, they became finalists headed to Spain.
Jane Brown runs The Dance Academy, where the girls both go to her school. She feels very proud of their hard work and thinks it’s exciting for them.
Millie Smith is proud of the duet practice. Harriet and Felicity have danced as a pair for two years, and dancing with a best friend will make memories.
The academy sent someone to the World Cup before, prior to the Covid pandemic. This trip is the first time traveling abroad since then.
They plan to raise money for the trip to Spain and hope to find some sponsors. They need money to help the girls get there.
