Several individuals from across Gwent faced court for driving offences, theft and breaches of court orders.
Elise-Marie Nightingale, 46, lives on Longtown Grove in Newport. On August 17th last year, she did not give a specimen when suspected of a crime. The court found her guilty after a trial, resulting in a 12-month community order and 12 months of mental health treatment.
Nightingale also faces a 15-day rehab program, and her license received 10 penalty points. She must pay £989, covering a fine and court costs. Jason Evans, 48, has no fixed address in Newport. He stole steaks worth £47 from Tesco Extra on February 11th.
Evans pleaded guilty and received four weeks in jail. He must pay compensation after his release. Ben Bird, 35, is from Clifton Street in Risca. He failed to comply with a suspended sentence, and the court ordered him to pay £110 in costs and a fine.
Amanda Sinnett, 36, lives in Tredegar and didn’t comply with her community order. She must pay £110 in costs and a fine too. Joe Dunlop, 32, from Pontypool, did not comply with his order.
Joe resides on Snatchwood Road and must pay £585 in costs and a fine. Ieuan Farr-Swift, 23, lives in Pontypool. He didn’t comply with a suspended sentence and has to pay £60 in court costs. Ieuan’s address is Winston Road.
Christopher Gould, 43, did not comply with his order. He resides on Salisbury Terrace in Pontypool. The court ordered him to pay £472 in costs and a fine.
Sharelle Morgan, 49, lives in Newport and didn’t comply with her community order. She must pay £150 in costs and a fine. Her address is William Lovett Gardens. Corey Richards, 26, from Cwmbran, did not comply with his sentence.
Corey lives on Farleys, and the court ordered him to pay £180 in costs and a fine. All these people failed to follow court orders.
