Cravin’ bakery in Mold is back after a short closure. New owner Shane Mellor has refurbished and reopened the local favorite.

Shane already owns the Great British Bakehouse. He sells bread and cake at Mold Market. He’s been a local favorite for years. His baking started in 1968.
Shane makes everything by hand. His bakery is in Neston. He takes pride in his products. Shane knows the old owners, Luke and Jamie-Lee Anderson.
He is happy he bought Cravin’. The Cravin’ brand will stay the same. They added new food, too. You can now buy gourmet sausage rolls.
Handmade pasties and tasty quiches are available. They also have vegan savory options. Cravin’ sells more than just sweets. They also offer drinks.
You can buy ice cream and milkshakes. Hot desserts are also on the menu. Cravin’ started as a cake stall in 2019.
Luke and Jamie-Lee Anderson owned it. They started at Mold Market during the pandemic. They needed income after losing jobs. Two years later, they opened a shop.
It was in Mold’s Daniel Owen Precinct, in 2021. After six years, they sold Cravin’. They wanted to chase other dreams. Luke became a firefighter in Mold.
Jamie-Lee is a dance teacher. She is starting a stage school. It’s called Lumina Stage Academy. It opens in April at Northop Village Hall.
Mold’s Mayor, Brian Lloyd, visited Shane. He congratulated him on the business. He is glad Cravin’ stays in town. Shane is a good owner. He looks forward to Shane’s future plans.
