Thousands still lack running water after a burst pipe and flooding impacted South London’s Crystal Palace area.

Thames Water is fixing the pipes and rerouting water. Water should return for most people. However, the water pressure could be weak, and some people might still have issues.
About five thousand homes are affected. The affected areas include SE19, SE20, SE23, SE26, SE27, and SW16. They apologize if you could not get water. A water station closed due to a problem at Sainsbury’s on Southend Lane.
Thames Water supports those needing special help. Schools and hospitals got extra water too. The water might look odd; it could be cloudy or bubbly because air got trapped in the pipes. Thames Water says it is still safe to drink.
