They will move to Front Street in Acomb. Their last day in the city center is March 22. Dee Weaver owns the framing shop.
Dee said they faced tough choices because their current lease is ending soon, and a rent increase is coming. Smaller, cheaper units proved unavailable.
Staying open meant moving or closing. Acomb offers lower rent and charges. They want to focus on their main business.
Dee said they offer good service and fair prices. They fill a gap within the framing market, and they help local artists consistently.
They aim to offer great service. They value repeat customers and good reviews because it is a small family-run business.
