A fire started in a nearby building on January 24th. It significantly damaged several businesses there, and owners now face an uncertain future because of it.

Firefighters from all over Essex fought the fire hard. They worked for almost a full day until they finally got the situation under control. People nearby needed to keep windows shut as large amounts of smoke poured from the scene.

Impamark was among the businesses most affected by the fire. They are a family company with awards, and for 55 years, they have supplied goods. They lost their offices but bounced back fast.

Nicky Crisp runs Impamark. She thanked the emergency workers a lot, saying their bravery and dedication were great. She is touched by the support from customers and the community in Burnham-on-Crouch.

Business has continued without any interruption. The Impamark team has been working from a new office, fully ready to give great service. Also, they got a new building and plan to move in during March’s first week.

Other fire-affected businesses struggle to recover. Joeanne Cottrill, a local, is trying to assist them, as Cottrill’s relative lost their business in the fire. She started a fundraiser to aid affected people.

Cottrill said these are honest people who now lack income. The fundraiser aims to ease their pain, and it also helps them rebuild their businesses quickly.

So far, the fundraiser raised just £380 of £1,400. People are urged to donate to support those who lost everything to the fire. Any donation can help these businesses a lot.
