The Dartford Crossing is important; it crosses the River Thames in England. The A282 links Kent and Essex. It goes from Dartford to Thurrock.
The West Tunnel closes Friday at 9 PM; it reopens Saturday at 6 AM. They close the road and slip road for tunnel work. The Junction 1A to West Tunnel also shuts. They will use National Highways roads as detours.
The East Tunnel shuts Sunday from 10 PM to 6 AM Monday. Road and slip road closures happen then. This allows tunnel work. Detours reroute drivers on other roads. Road conditions and changes can happen.
