Daryl Jervier received jail time after police found drug evidence during an A11 traffic stop and subsequent investigation.

Police looked at a 17-year-old’s phone. Messages showed Jervier supplied him with cannabis, and the teen then sold it in Thetford. A 16-year-old also had drug-related messages with Jervier. He possessed drugs when police seized his phone.
Officers searched Jervier’s car on the A11. They discovered six grams of cannabis and £280. Jervier lived on East Road, Enfield, and admitted involvement in supplying cannabis. He also drove without insurance and a license.
Judge Martyn Levett sentenced Jervier, noting he had past convictions from 2002. These included robbery and drug supply, for which he already served jail time.
Jervier used £40 of cannabis daily for sciatica pain resulting from an accident. He then started supplying cannabis to others. Judge Levett noted teens were selling drugs in Thetford, running a “cottage industry.”
Jervier had 94 days on a tag, which will be subtracted from his sentence. Judge Levett also seized the £280. Juliet Donovan, representing Jervier, said he studies at university and runs a music business, adding, “He is trying to turn his life around.”
