Potholes on A4130 near Didcot caused by water leak to be fully repaired by Saturday after council intervention.

The potholes are on the A4130, the road towards Wallingford, past Hadden Hill Golf Club. The holes are about 10cm deep and were full of water too.
Traffic lights were put in quickly so cars can now drive around the holes safely. This prevents more damage to cars. The councillor worked hard to get them fixed.
He shared good news this week: highway officers found the cause. A leak about 40 yards away caused the water, and they agreed to replace a long section of pipe. This work will happen only from 8pm to 11pm.
The traffic lights will only be on during work, and a permanent fix should be done by Saturday. The road surface should be fully repaired then. We’ll find out more soon. The councillor said Thames Water ignored residents before.
He’s pleased officers finally took a strong stand. The work permit confirms the evening schedule. Lights must be off when not in use.
