Apple is three years old and came from racing kennels, though she never raced. She is an active dog who loves fun and has lots of energy. Apple gets along well with other dogs and is currently in a foster home with three male greyhounds.
Apple needs a special home because she has a high prey drive. She needs a similar-sized dog or to be the only dog, and her owners must understand this. Apple is crate trained and can be left alone for a few hours. She needs a big yard and loves playing with toys, especially football, so access to secure fields is needed for her to run and stretch.
Terry is a two-year-old Terrier who sadly returned to the rescue after being attacked by another dog, suffering awful injuries. He is doing well in foster care now.
Terry had issues at his new home related to insufficient exercise and attempts to escape the garden. He is also triggered by brooms and poles, suggesting he was hit, and now tries to protect himself. Terry needs plenty of exercise, can be left alone, and requires an active home with a family who enjoys the outdoors. He needs time to adjust, but once he trusts you, he’s loving. Hugo is a five-year-old Greyhound, a beautiful ex-racing dog rescued from the kennels. He had bad bone and skin problems, but he is now a very sweet boy who loves attention and fuss. Hugo walks well on a lead, is well-behaved, and is goofy and shy at first. He deserves a forever home.
Oakley is a two-year-old Bulldog-cross who urgently needs a foster home. She can’t live with kids or other pets and needs a firm handler. She is still young and learning, exhibiting the typical stubbornness of a Bulldog. The rescue covers food and vet bills.
Beetlejuice is a five-year-old, beautiful Greyhound who came after 94 races. He needs his own family and sofa and is described by the rescue as friendly, calm, and funny. He is getting better at walking nicely but is also excited for walks and pulls on the lead.
