Crafts, art, and community spirit shone at the Youth Council event in Newton Abbot, Devon on February 22nd.

The Youth Council put it on. The event was at the Courtenay Centre on Saturday, February 22. People in town came on by.
This was the group’s first event. Members showed their creations, and crafters from Devon also participated.
They had many handmade items. Pencil cases and pin cushions were there, along with keyrings and bracelets.
Ethan thought it brought folks together, and Nyla said the setup was quite neat. And it was busy!
Freya had fun at the event, and Gracie enjoyed the planning process.
The Youth Council helps young people change their community. They learn skills and make pals.
The members thanked everyone for their support. Abbie Shermer displayed her birdhouses, from her business, Handmade by Abbie.
