A Dodford family is overjoyed after a drone search team located their missing Doberman Lola, lost for four hours.

Louise was panicked about Lola because cars speed on her street. Lola usually comes when called, but not this time. Darren contacted Chris Hughes, who uses a thermal drone to find dogs.
Rain initially delayed the drone search; however, they found Lola within two minutes after the rain stopped. Chris Hughes emphasized that it was a team effort, noting that Darren and others searched the lanes and ground searchers remained ready to assist. A tracker dog was even planned for the next morning.
The team also gives helpful advice to owners, understanding that sometimes dogs return home independently. Lola was missing for about four hours and was found in an unexpected place. She was caught in some brambles, and Louise’s husband, Colin, rescued her.
Louise felt incredibly relieved that Lola was safe and thanked the entire search team. The drone team located Lola using a thermal drone, and Louise reported that Lola was scared but is recovering. She and her other Doberman were happy to have her home, and the other dog seemed to be trying to find Lola earlier. Lola slept in their bed that first night, and Louise is thankful for the drone team’s help.
