Perry Sutton fined almost £3000 after his dogs barked all day, violating a noise abatement notice in Boughton Under Blean.

People complained about the noise. Council officers went to his property near Faversham in Boughton Under Blean. They saw lots of kennels there, holding around 50 dogs.
These dogs barked without stopping, beginning at 6 AM each day. The noise often lasted until 8 PM. Someone even recorded the barking and used the video as proof.
Officials gave Sutton a warning in 2022 about the noise. But, the barking continued anyway. Officers got more complaints and noticed five violations. Thus, the council took him to court.
The court found Sutton guilty on February 11. He broke the noise order eight times. The court fined him £800. He must pay £320 more for victim support. He also owes £820 for costs. Legal fees add another £972, making the total cost £2,912.
The council will keep watching his property. They will act if the noise continues to ensure he stops the barking.
