Police address livestock worrying and a manslaughter case in Gloucestershire. Dog owners urged to be responsible.

Police want dog owners to be responsible. Keep dogs on a lead near farm animals, they say. Many livestock worrying incidents happened recently.
The Rural Crime Team went to Blakeney on Wednesday. A dog attacked several sheep there. Nine sheep got serious injuries from the attack. Stress and injury could kill them.
The team is checking other cases. These cases involve livestock worrying in the Forest of Dean. They happened near Popes Hill and Tibberton areas.
Livestock worrying is a crime. This includes dogs attacking animals. Chasing sheep is also livestock worrying. Dog poo can cause disease within sheep.
Police ask for info on the dog attack. Contact them if you know the Bull Terrier’s owner. Quote incident 69 of February 12th when reporting it.
Last year, police ran Operation Recall. It helped protect livestock. It asked dog owners to be responsible.
