Dog Walker Injured Pet Hurt in Unprovoked Attack Near Armagh Road
She walked her little dogs when two other dogs attacked. One dog was large and the other medium-sized. They jumped a fence.
She said the attack seemed unprovoked. The dogs immediately grabbed hers, and both little dogs got hurt. One suffered severe injuries and was “ripped to pieces,” she said.
The dog walker tried hard to stop the attack, which seemed very ferocious. She even got hurt herself as she kicked the dogs to protect her pets.
One dog jumped and broke her skin. She also got a bite on her finger. The owners of the attacking dogs tried to help, and they kicked their dog too, but it didn’t work at first.
Finally, they got the dogs separated. The woman rushed her injured pets to the vet. The vet gave the badly hurt dog pain meds and an anti-inflammatory shot and she needed stitches later.
The dog owner is understandably shaken up. Seeing her pet in pain was terrible, and the poor dog couldn’t sleep that night. She asks people to be careful when walking dogs there and hopes people control their dogs better so this way, attacks won’t happen again. Armagh I reached out to the dog warden for their comment.
