Police want to talk to two people. These people might know about an assault in the Cotswolds. It happened last weekend, police say.

A man and a woman walked dogs near Eyford House in Upper Slaughter around 12:25 p.m. on Sunday, February 16. Their dogs were Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Another woman walked her dog with her partner in the same area.

She asked the couple to leash their dogs. One Ridgeback bit her dog, she stated. The man then punched the woman.

The couple grabbed her from behind next and pulled her down. Then, they kicked her ribs. This is what police reported.

The couple are both white and wore matching black wax jackets. The woman had blonde hair in a ponytail and wore a pink cap. The man had short hair and sported a grey goatee and moustache.

Police ask the couple to contact them, and they want to know what they saw. They also ask witnesses to get in touch. You can use an online form to give information, quoting incident 176 of February 16. The website is gloucestershire.police.uk/tua.
