Plans submitted to convert equestrian land into a secure dog walking area with parking and waste disposal.

They plan to change equestrian land. It will become a dog walking field. The applicant says it’s unique for locals and will have a secure fence that is 1,200 high. The fence uses posts, rails and wire, allowing dogs to walk off-lead safely.
The applicant stated their intentions, proposing a unique service that lets owners exercise dogs securely. It helps remote workers and introverts, supporting mental and physical health. The change will not impact agriculture, but adds recreation for dog walking.
Opening times are planned from 8 AM to 6 PM, with shorter winter hours. The plan includes a gravel parking area that allows safe, off-road parking. About three parking spaces are planned for customer use.
A dog waste bin will be provided in the parking area. The applicant will empty it twice a week. A contractor will remove the waste; they are fully licensed.
The proposal aims to help nature too. They want to add wildflowers and encourage local wildlife. The applicant said it creates a healthy ecosystem, aligning with environmental care.
